Blast furnace ironmaking

In blast furnace production, MagFlu can produce slag with excellent metallurgical properties, improve the quality of sintered ores, pellets, and pig iron smelting efficiency.

MagFlu high magnesium flux is made of natural magnesite and is used for blast furnace pig iron smelting, sintered ore and ballite production.

The purpose of MagFlu high magnesium flux is to directly add magnesium oxide to the blast furnace, and indirectly add it to the blast furnace through sintered ore and ball ore to improve its quality, reduce the viscosity of blast furnace slag, improve the desulfurization capacity, and improve the efficiency of ironmaking.

MagFlu is used as a flux in the production of sintered ore, and the dosage is 0.5-2% of the quality of the charge, which will reduce the trend of porosity and excessive dissolution of magnesium oxide in sintered ore raw materials, and reduce the formation of slag.

MagFlu high magnesium flux is used in the production of glotinous ore, and the optimal addition is 2%, which can improve the quality characteristics of the glutinous.

When smelting sintered ore and ball ore in a blast furnace, MagFlu can keep magnesium oxide in the slag stable, thus improving the productivity of the blast furnace.

Advantages

01 When producing sintered ore and pellet ore, it is the best alternative to fluxes such as dolomite, magnesium ore, limestone, etc.

02The impurity content is the lowest

03Compared with dolomite, the sintering strength is significantly improved.

04Improve the productivity of the sintering process

05Improve the strength and heat resistance of the ball ore Remove bentonite during melting

06The decomposition process does not emit carbon dioxide (co2), which improves the environmental protection of sintered blast furnace smelting.
