Recommended product: Magnesium Hydroxide MagFR Wollastonite WAS WZS Aluminum Hydroxide ANF AHF.
Magnesium hydroxide flame retardant in the building materials industry effectively delays combustion and suppresses the spread of fire by absorbing heat through high-temperature decomposition, isolating oxygen, and diluting combustible gases; Its decomposition products significantly reduce smoke generation and are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, meeting the standards of green building materials. It is widely used in polymer building materials (such as PVC cables, polyolefin pipelines), fireproof coatings, insulation materials, and flooring. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, strong stability, and synergistic efficiency. However, surface modification is needed to optimize the impact of high addition on material performance, making it a key material for improving building fire safety and environmental performance.
The WAS series of ordinary wollastonite mineral powder is applied in the cement industry. Wollastonite, as a non active mixed material, can be added to cement clinker to improve the whiteness of cement for the production of white cement, and it has lower energy consumption than producing white cement by ordinary methods.
The WZS series of needle shaped powder of wollastonite is applied in the silicon calcium board industry, and its main competitive products are steel fiber and glass fiber. However, wollastonite can lower the firing temperature of calcium silicate board, save costs, and improve the material's fire resistance, thermal insulation, sound insulation, and other properties.
Aluminum hydroxide, as an efficient and environmentally friendly flame retardant in the field of building materials, mainly absorbs a large amount of heat and releases water vapor through thermal decomposition (about 200 ℃), reducing material temperature and diluting combustible gases. At the same time, the generated aluminum oxide coating isolates oxygen, effectively suppressing combustion and fire spread; Its halogen-free, low smoke, and non-toxic characteristics meet the standards of green building materials and are widely used in flame retardant plastics (such as PVC doors and windows, cable sheaths), fireproof coatings, aluminum-plastic panels, and insulation materials. While improving the material's fire resistance level, it maintains its mechanical properties. However, surface modification is needed to improve its dispersibility in the polymer matrix to optimize flame retardant efficiency and processing performance. It is an important fire retardant additive that balances safety and environmental protection.
